Sea and European Road Freight Forwarder Role: To be responsible for producing high quality customer service to all our customers, overseas partners and suppliers. Manage your time to ensure that priorities and targets set are achieved. Essential Duties: Plan, direct and control all activities on a day to day basis. Ensure all Consignments are loaded onto computer system prior to arrival / departure Maintain all files ensuring they are costed and invoiced prior to export, import delivery or release. Obtain relevant information from customers in order to complete customs clearance, deliver or release of cargo. Keep operational staff & Customers fully informed of any holds, exams or other areas which may cause delay to a shipment. Complete Import Customs Clearance in accordance with current HMRC requirements. Responsible for ensuring that all outstanding monies are collected prior to release/delivery of goods with overall responsibility in the collection of outstanding D/V including updating records. Provide transport companies with the relevant information to ensure customer delivery requirements are met. Develop constructive relationships with key customers and key suppliers, resolving any concerns and ensuring corrective action is taken.     Wine Marketing Executive - Central London - Up to £28,000 A Wine Marketing Exectuve is required for an independent Wine, importer and distributor. The Wine Marketing Executive MUST have a proven track record in within the wine industry. Pay: £25,000-£28,000 based on experience Key Roles: Develop a multi-channel marketing calendar to surpass company objectives across a number of marketing channels (alongside the Commercial Director) and being accountable for its delivery. Namely: trade events, bespoke portfolio tastings, website blog/news posts, social media content creation and management, email platform, trade and supplier newsletter(s), company PR, quarterly promotional literature. Pro-actively liaise with our suppliers to develop content and drive PR/exposure. Develop briefs and then manage external design team to meet company deadlines. Pro-actively maintain all key marketing assets: website, order portal, trade brochures, presentations, technical sheets. In conjunction with Commercial Director, develop annual brand plans for key agencies. Provide event support when required. Provide support to the sales team via customer wine list creation.     Wine Logistics Co-ordinator - Central London - Up to £28,000 A Wine Logistics Co-ordinator is required for an independent Wine & Beverage manufacturer, importer and distributor. The Wine Logistics Co-ordinator MUST have a proven track record with an importer and MUST have knowledge in wine. The Package: Salary: £25-£28k dependent on experience 23 days' holiday (excluding public holidays), increasing to 25 days following two years' service. Key roles: Stock forecasting & demand planning across three warehouses (third party bond, two duty paid warehouses) Raising purchase orders and checking pro-forma's Co-ordination of freight forwarding with our logistics partners to relevant warehouse/customer Providing pre-advice and receipt of goods to relevant partners and systems Stock location management within warehouses and systems Product code creation and management Weekly stock reporting Customer service responsibilities: Processing customer orders (IBD and DPD), daily order completion status, chasing up returns and/or mis-picks and proactively dealing with issues, digital filing of POD's and fielding general customer service queries Understand current wine trends Required Experience: Must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role for an importer.
