Position: Customs Clearance Coordinator
Location: Leeds
Industry: International Freight Forwarding
Hours: Mon – Fri – 8:30am – 17:30pm
Salary:£28,000 – £33,000 DOE

We are delighted to be working closely with a well-established ever growing Freight Forwarding organisation based in Leeds. With over 50 years’ experience in International Freight Forwarding and shipping they are viewed as one of the most established and trust worthy leading Freight service providers in the UK.
Passionate in providing and understanding their customer’s individual needs through the development of strong relationships, they offer a friendly, reliable and structural approach providing logistical support on a global scale.
To assist with the future development of the organisation we are seeking for a customs clearance coordinator who will be part of a hard-working, dynamic and friendly customs team.
Essential to the role the candidate must have prior experience dealing with either Import or Export customs clearance primarily in Sea Freight. The role will offer the successful candidate to join a success driven team with countless development routes to progress from within.
The role:
To complete customs clearances for import & export freight consignments
Import and Export Customs Clearance for sea freight shipments
Build and develop strong Customer relationships
Developing and maintaining client and agent network
Liaising with our global network of customers, hauliers shipping lines and partners
Essential Requirements:
Good knowledge of customs clearance procedures
knowledge of sea freight
Experience inputting to CHIEF
Ability to work under pressure
2-5 years’ experience in freight or logistics
Good Communication Skills
