Customs Coordinator – Felixstowe, UK (IP11) – Freight Forwarding

Salary: £24,000 + Package

Monday – Friday (08:30 – 17:00)

My client, a world-leading Logistics organisation are looking to contribute to their growing team with the acquisition of an experienced Customs Coordinator for their Felixstowe branch.

The Role:

Reporting into the Customs Team Leader, you will work alongside your colleagues to ensure all customs clearances are actioned on goods entering the UK, typically coming from European Countries for a multitude of different customers. You will utilise Destin8 and CNS systems to claim inventory links to add to the customs entry, ensuring a high level of attention to detail and accuracy is maintained to prevent any errors or oversights on documentation. This role will require regular communication and engagement with the customers, so you will need to build and maintain first-class, long-lasting relationships with them and be on hand to support at each stage of the process.

From You:

The ideal candidate will need to come with experience working in a Customs Administrator or Customs Coordinator role (or similar) and be confident working in a role that services a large and varied customer base. You will need to understand and implement best practice within your role to ensure compliance is maintained, being proactive and efficient in your communication with customers, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
