Position: Account Manager - Freight Forwarding

Location: Derby

Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 17:00pm

Salary: DOE

To coincide with our growth plans for 2021 and beyond, we now seek an internal sales and account manager to join a growing commercial team.

The Position

Your job role will be to maintain, retain and develop customer relationships with a portfolio of existing and creating new clients. Your objective will be achieving your targets using the services we provide and log your activity and information gathered in our system. In this key role you will be speaking directly with our customers, managing their expectation by providing updates, logistics and technology services related information and increasing sales of added-value services. You will be validating all the information gathered on your customers and logging this on CRM as well as up selling the logistics and technology services that make our customers happy.

Essential Requirements

You will act as the first point of contact for your external customer, providing them with a high level of quality service. Whilst maintaining a strong relationship with your customer base, you will have understood which of the companies services would create the most benefit, efficiency, and happiness for them.

Previous experience within international logistics or freight forwarding is important as well as proven experience managing customer accounts, retaining business and developing new business leads and opportunities. Outstanding customer service is paramount for this position.

Key Responsibilities
