Hours: Mon – Fri 8:30am – 17:00 (Hybrid)
Salary: £40,000 + Monthly Bonus
Freight Forwarding Manager
We are currently hiring on behalf of a privately owned logistics and freight forwarding company based in Doncaster that is looking to grow and develop its new international freight forwarding division.
The position involves the development and implementation of a new freight forwarding operation, building a portfolio of new business, effective account management and the execution of day-to-day freight operations across Road, Sea, and Airfreight consignments.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, well connected and networked in the freight forwarding industry with the ability to increase revenue through strategic sales planning and grow and develop a team of operational personnel to facilitate the business requirements at it evolves.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a freight forwarding manager to become an integral part of our explanation plans, and help shape the direction of the company and drive growth in this critical area of the business.
Essential experience:
- A minimum of 5 years in the freight forwarding industry
- Management experience
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong operational freight experience
- A background in either European Road, Sea of Air Freight
- Strong commercial sales acumen
- Experience with customs declarations
