HR Manager - Chichester - £40,000-£45,000 - Hybrid Working


A leading food producer situated in Chichester is seeking a HR Manager with a strong generalist background to join their expanding team. The successful HR Manager will have a focus on identifying and developing talent and talent strategies, including performance management and conducting training needs and skills gap analysis.

In this role you will be instrumental in the development of agile people processes, helping to shape cultural change and identify new technologies to assist with these processes.

The Package:
Salary - £40,000-£45,000 (DOE)

The Role:
  • Act as the first point of contact for talent development, including career paths, learning & training both across the entire organisation.
  • Work with HR colleagues to develop and maintain effective graduate, internship & work experience programmes.
  • Develop effective performance management system for all colleagues to allow identification of needs through job analysis, objectives, key indicators & feedback.
  • Act as point of escalation for all learning & development queries from the business; work closely with managers in training needs analysis, identifying skills gaps and develop training and development requirements to resolve gaps.
  • Assist with the design of competency frameworks; career paths and other development initiatives.
  • Take a lead role in the coordination, communication and enrolment of training.
  • Look for opportunities to improve and enhance the learning & development processes and identify new ways of working to assist with developing & identifying talent within the business.

Requirements:
  • Must have a strong HR Generalist background - ideally c.7 years.
  • Must have had exposure to talent development, performance management and learning & development initiatives as well as proven experience of involvement in graduate/internship/work experience programmes and employee relations.
  • Conscientious, consistent & self-motivated with a creative flair to improve current processes and identify new technologies.
  • Ideally qualified to CIPD Level 7.
