This role offers excellent career development opportunities as the business expands. The products are of a reasonably technical nature so ability to work with technical details is required. Someone with an interest in technology, how things work or engineering would find this role interesting.
You will be working within the sales office, helping to prepare and format tender submissions and customer proposals, assist with presentations and pitches and researching potential target markets. A large proportion of time in the role will be involved with preparing tenders and providing ongoing technical support to the external sales team.
The ideal candidate will be confident communicator when dealing with customers and colleagues either face to face or over the phone. You will have clear and accurate written ability and genuinely good attention to detail as this will be paramount to the position. Ability to establish, develop and nurture relationships and a willingness to socialise with customers both during and outside of office hours.
You should be local to Southampton and hold a full driving licence. It is expected you will have some sales office experience.
Assisting in tender writing
Provide support to external sales team
Preparation of design paperwork for customers
To assist with the development and management of lead generation processes.
To present and sell the company's products and services to existing and potential clients.
Prepare presentations, proposals and quotations.
Starting salary £20K-£26K
