Due to company growth an exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Manager to join one of the world’s largest Freight Forwarders in the industry. My client are looking for an individual with a strong customer service ability to manage the operations and expectations of their largest and accounts.

The Package

• £28K-£32K DOE

The Right Person

The ideal candidate will have experience in freight forwarding operations, specifically European road freight and a strong customer service ability as the role includes liaising with senior managers. My client will consider candidates from UK transport backgrounds and Manufacturing, provided they are also able to demonstrate an excellent level of customer service.

The Role

• Arranging transport orders (Import, Export and domestic start to finish)
• Being competent with Custom procedures (T1’s, T2’s)
• Producing KPI reports / participating in review meetings
• Offer a ‘best in class’ service experience
• Understanding of Import/export and Cross trade logistics
