Sea Import Forwarder £25k-£30K

A successful freight forwarding brand seek an Sea Freight Coordinator for their Portsmouth Site.

The company have not had to make any redundancies and have continued trading all though the pandemic. The role is because of growth not replacement. They recently moved to a brand new modern office due to growth.

The successful Freight Coordinator will have worked for a Freight Forwarder and will have working experience within Sea Freight.

You will be joining a vibrant team and managing the day to day Import bookings of Sea Freight shipments.

The Package

£25K - £30K - depending on experience

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

20 days holiday plus banks

Company pension

The Sea Freight Coordinator Role:

Manage the day to day Import bookings of worldwide Sea freight shipments

Invoice jobs on completion

Extensive supplier liaison and negotiation

Internal liaison with the sales team assisting with quotations and service status information

Raising job files and all of the appropriate paperwork

Process the jobs utilising the in-house software system

The Operations Coordinator Requirements:

MUST have Sea Freight Experience

Previous working experience within a Freight Forwarder

Experience of calculating freight quotations and rate negotiations

An excellent communicator both written and verbally

Excellent IT skills
