Project Planner

Project Planner / Project Scheduler / Project Coordinator – to £48k

Due to expansion, a new role has become available for an experienced Project Planner / Project Scheduler / Project Coordinator to join the team of a growing engineering company, delivering mission- critical engineering to Europe’s nuclear and healthcare industries.

The Project Planner / Project Scheduler / Project Coordinator will work with the wider project team to develop and manage successful and timely delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

* Manage project plans on major projects that are fully cost, and resource loaded

* Produce commentary on changes to project plans, managing critical path and forward loading

* To support the creation and tracking of internal planning processes and work instructions

* Help develop and maintain a good working relationship with suppliers and clients.

* Successful in identifying any project deviations, slippage reports, opportunities, mitigations, and communication to the project team.

* Ensuring that all issues within the programme are highlighted and understood by the project team and provide appropriate planning advice.

* To ensure that all reports are accurate, produced in a timely manner

* To plan and forecast utilisation of labour on the project

You:

* Degree or equivalent in Engineering discipline

* Project Management Qualification

* Expert user of Primavera P6 software

* A detailed understanding of infrastructure projects, how they are designed, constructed, and commissioned.

* Able to accurately define project programmes

* Experience in preparing project resource histograms, and performance analysis data, and Earned Value Analysis.

* Must demonstrate a detailed understanding of Project Controls Techniques including, budget and spend management, change control, data analysis and trend analysis.

* Familiar with commercial and financial aspects of project management and experience working on projects using NEC contracts.
