QHSE Manager - Romsey - £30,000-£40,000 (DOE)


QHSE Manager required to join an SME based in Romsey which is going through a period of rapid change, with a renewed focus on quality systems.

As the successful QHSE Manager you will be responsible for the management of the companies QMS, covering a site in Romsey and one in Basingstoke, ensuring standards are adhered to and expectations regarding ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001 are understood and communicated to all staff on site.

The Package:
Salary - £30,000-£40,000 (DOE)
Working Hours - 8:30-16:30 (Monday-Thursday) 8:30-14:30 (Friday)
25 days holiday

The Role:
  • Manage the company Quality Management System.
  • Perform Quality Investigations for non-conforming product both internally and as reported by the customers.
  • Ensure effective CAPA are in place following any quality deviation.
  • Maintain records, evidence, and related reports associated with quality issues.
  • Liaise with customers regarding their various NCR processes and expectations.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis.
  • Oversee Health and Safety aspects of both sites.
  • Document Risk Assessments for all site activities.
  • Perform Internal Audits.
  • Responsible for site procedures and documents relating to the QMS.
  • Approving customer returns.
  • Responsible for site Environmental permit and associated actions.
  • Perform training regarding QHSE topics as required.
  • Work closely with the management team to highlight issues and investigations.

Requirements:
  • Must have experience managing a QMS with working knowledge of ISO9001.
  • Experience of health, safety and environmental standards is highly desirable (ISO14001 & ISO18001)
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
