Project Sales Manager - Industrial / Process Industries

This is a newly created position to drive market share of this manufacturers products within chemical, water, pharmaceutical food & beverage industries, process sectors and industrial.

You will have responsibility for identifying industrial project opportunities, winning specifications and promoting industrial Products within your territory.

The company are one of the major global manufacturers and well-known brands of plastic pipe, fittings and valves

You
We would like to hear from sales managers or sales engineers who have sold into these markets.
The product you've sold is less important, so could be; pumps, skids mounted plant, dosing equipment, industrial water treatment, pressure vessels, pipe, valves, chillers, refrigeration or similar products.
A manufacturer background would be beneficial as would selling via distribution.
Strong experience in specification and project sales

The Role
· Identifying Industrial projects, business development and account management within an agreed territory
· Promoting Industrial products and services within the Consultant, Client and Contractor customer base
· Achieving specification and working closely with the Distribution team to protect the specification through to order
Work from home office. Extensive travel and some nights away from home, a full driving licence is essential.

Ideal skills and experience
Thorough knowledge of the Industrial market including product, competitor and customer information, ideally chemical, water, pharmaceutical food & beverage industries
Ability to deliver CPD technical and commercial product presentations to clients
Ability to read customer drawings
Identify and manage key performance criteria, working with other company departments and colleagues
