Sales Support Executive/ Internal Sales Executive required to join a growing manufacturer based in central Southampton. This role offers excellent career development opportunities as the business expands.
As the successful Sales Support Executive/ Internal Sales Executive you will be working closely with the commercial team, helping to prepare and format tender submissions and customer proposals, assist with presentations and pitches and researching potential target markets. A large proportion of time in the role will be involved with preparing tenders and providing ongoing technical support to the external sales team.
Tender writing, formatting and submission directly to clients and via tender portals.
Management of tender opportunities through monitoring of various portals and industry press.
Provide support to external sales team through preparation of designs for customer opportunities, and processing requests in line with company SOP's.
To establish, maintain and develop new client opportunities in existing and new markets.
To assist with the development and management of lead generation processes.
To present and sell the company's products and services to existing and potential clients.
Prepare presentations, proposals and quotations.
Maintain up to date and accurate customer and lead information on ERP and relevant systems.
Passionate about sales and marketing and customer service
Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
Experience in contract management and interpretation is desirable
Ability to establish, develop and nurture relationships and a willingness to socialise with customers both during and outside of office hours.
At least 1 years experience within business development
Full UK driving licence. Commutable distance of Southampton
