Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer – Highways & Drainage

Working for clients UK wide and internationally, covering all the major development sectors and working on projects from site acquisition and appraisal through to construction completion
Due to their increasing workload and expanding client base, they are currently seeking a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join the Civil Engineering team in Leeds.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a proven ability to coordinate projects, communicate effectively and manage design team members.
The Role
- Producing design drawings for technical approvals and construction.
- Design of Earthworks, Highways, Pavement and the preparation of the associated specifications.
- Liaise with Local Authorities and other stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals.
- Ability to carry out highway design on AutoCAD and Civils 3D software.
- Delegating and supervising work of more junior team members and acting as a mentor.
- Liaise with clients, other professionals and other disciplines on all relevant aspects of projects
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of design guide criteria including DMRB, Traffic signs manuals and TSRGD.
- Experience of producing highway designs including S38 and S278 designs.
- Have extensive experience in the use of AutoCAD, Civils3D and AutoTrack
- Software experience in WinDes MicroDrainage and drainage design experience is essential.
- Software experience in PDS and earthworks and highway design experience is desirable

- To £55,000 annual salary
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
