Senior Customs Clerk required for Multi site, Multi Modal Logistics brand based in Feltham.

Senior Customs Clerk MUST have experience in Freight Forwarding and the Customs Clearance process.

This is a real team effort and all Customs staff operate in an office based togetherness.

Sea Freight / Air Freight / European / Customs experience ALL CONSIDERED

Import & Export experience REQUIRED

Experience with a Freight Forwarder is ESSENTIAL

Senior Customs Clerk Package:

£27K - £33K

28 days holiday

Hours : 09:00 - 17:30 - Monday to Friday

Requirements & Responsibilities

in Customs procedural and import operational matters.

Good written and communication skills

Microsoft Office software skills i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel etc.

An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints

To work with other team members in order to deliver optimum performance.

Experienced in the usage of BoxTop, ASM GeMS & Destin8 software applications.

Excellent organisational skills

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Understanding of complex information and requirements

Good prioritisation skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans

Good evaluation skills

The Role :

To provide H. M. Revenue & Customs support, knowledge and compliance to both operational & sales departments that directly relates to HMRC matters pertaining to the movement and clearance of goods from both inside and outside the EC.
