Technical Sales Engineer – Air Compressors
We’re seeking a Sales Engineer to join our client who have an excellent reputation as a leading distributor of compressed air systems.
The successful candidate will operate within the dynamic South East region, actively promoting the business through expansion of the existing customer base and generating new business opportunities.
The Role:
- Maintain new sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
- Manage the geographical sales area including house and key accounts to maximise sales.
- Generate leads for capital equipment sales and promote energy-efficient solutions.
- Conduct demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations to meet sales targets.
- Perform site surveys, energy audits, and offer technical guidance to existing and potential customers.
- Collaborate with the Service Department to ensure top-notch after-sales support.
Requirements:
- Previous relevant sales or service engineer experience
- Experience in the compressed air industry is advantageous, but not essential; training will be provided.
- Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to travel within the South East region daily.
- Clean driving license.
Benefits:
- Base Salary: £35,000 – £38,000.
