Transport Planner
Transport Planner – Basildon- up to £35,000
You will be joining an independent specialist haulage company that are experts in all they do.
Working with a team of planners, you will learn and develop new skills, becoming an expert yourself.
To be successful you will need route planning experience from within a general haulage business.
£30,000 – £35,000 DOE
Monday – Friday
Rolling weekly rota
The Role:
- As Transport Planner you will be routing company owned vehicles around the UK
- You must Plan routes as cost effectively as possible
- It is the Transport Planners responsibility to plan routes in line with WTD and Drivers Hours
- Transport Planner will ensure all customers are kept up to date
- All necessary admin must be completed
- You will be working with the Operations Manager to ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with company standards
The Requirements:
- General Haulage / Heavy Haulage background
- Must be able to plan vehicle routes
- Previous use of TMS beneficial
- Excellent work ethic / attitude
