Transport Planner

Transport Planner required near Walsall

You will be joining a leading logistics business with great opportunities to develop and progress your career.

As Transport Planner, you will be working in a large team routing the company owned fleet UK wide.

Package:

£25,000 – £28,000

Monday to Friday

10:30 – 19:30 / 11:00 – 20:00

The role:

Transport Planner will be responsible for planning the routes for vehicles

You must liaise effectively with customers and colleagues as required

It is your responsibility to ensure all routes are planned cost efficiently

Drivers hours legislation must be adhered to

Transport Planner should ensure customers are kept up to date and SLA’s are met

The Requirements:

Experience as a Transport Planner

Geographical knowledge of UK

Strong knowledge of drivers’ hours legislation

Have container / multi-drop experience

Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
