Workshop Supervisor
Workshop Supervisor required in Derby
An experienced and driven Workshop Supervisor is required by a leading haulage company to ensure the efficient running of a busy workshop facility.
You must have at least a level 3 NVQ as a HGV Technician
Previous management of a team of technicians is desired.
HGV Driving license would be beneficial
The Details:
£17.00 – £18.50 per hour
Monday – Friday
50 hours per week
Between 6am – 6pm
The Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing a team of HGV mechanics and technicians
The workshop provides maintenance, repair and MOT services for vehicles and trailers
It is essential that you are an advocate of all health & safety policies on site
Workshop Supervisor will be required to carry out a range of tasks, including; inspecting, diagnosing faults / defects, testing, dismantling, overhauling, repairing and re-assembling engines, trailers, related equipment and components.
You will also be responsible for allocating work to mechanics and monitoring progress
The Requirements:
Level 3 NVQ in HGV Mechanics
Strong communication skills
HGV license – beneficial
Ability to multi-task
