Electrical Project Engineer – Building Services
Market-Leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering business is looking for an Electrical Project Engineer for an office-based role in Essex. Suitable for Electrical Engineers, Projects Engineers or Design Engineers with electrical qualifications and experience within building services
Responsibilities:
The role will involve all aspects of electrical engineering of projects, from enquiry or conception stage through to completion, including (but not limited to):
- Developing electrical services designs and production of technical documentation including working drawings, schematics, installation detail drawings, technical submittals, supporting design calculations etc, to a level of detail required for site installation
- Estimating and pricing enquiries and dealing with tender submissions
Liaising with clients, main contractors and/or design teams, suppliers, and subcontractors - Co-ordinating services designs and requirements with the mechanical division and other external contractors
Requirements:
- Educated to a minimum of HNC level in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent related discipline
- Minimum of three years’ work experience in a similar role and/or environment
Package:
- Salary £40,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
- Progression opportunities to Project Manager
- Office-based with the option for hybrid working
- 33 days holiday
