European Road Freight Coordinator
European Road Freight Coordinator – Aberdeen – Up to £35,000
Our client, who are a global freight forwarder are looking for a European Road Freight Coordinator to join their team in Aberdeen.
The European Road Freight Coordinator will be tasked to co-ordinate all road shipments from start to finish.
Job type: Permanent
Hours: 09:00am-17:30pm
Package:
- Salary – Up to £35,000 (DOE)
- 25 days annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays

Day-to-day:
- Offering competitive pricing to clients.
- Ensuring jobs awarded are processed and followed through to completion.
- Billing clients as per working SOP’s
- Completing Pre-Alerts / Advising Customs Clearance instructions
- Liaising with the warehouse regarding incoming/outgoing freight.
- Booking Ferry Spaces / Port base etc
- Updating customers on Progress
- Job files are processed and completed within the monthly/year end schedules.
Required Skills
- At least 1 years experience within Road freight is ESSENTIAL
- EUROPEAN freight knowledge is ESSENTIAL
- Working for a UK based freight forwarder is ESSENTIAL
- Dangerous goods knowledge is DESIRABLE
