Freight Forwarding Manager
We are recruiting for a Freight Forwarding Manager to build a new International Freight division for our client in Doncaster. A company who understands the importance of growth and investment for them to stay ahead of their competitors.
They are looking for a self-starter who can develop and implement a new freight forwarding operation.
The ideal candidate will need a proven track record of building a portfolio to generate new revenue through tactical sales planning. The position involves account management, facilitating day to day operations across Road, Air and sea and eventually building a team of operational staff as the business grows.
This is a role that can really shape the expansion plans of our client, so if you are a Freight Forwarding Manager who would like a new exciting opportunity then we would love to hear from you.
Hybrid working, but you will need to be able to work out of the Doncaster office on occasion as the business requires.
Essential experience:
- A minimum of 5 years in the freight forwarding industry
- Management experience
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong operational freight experience
- A background in either European Road, Sea of Air Freight
- Strong commercial sales acumen
- Experience with customs declarations
