Location: Basildon
Salary: £22,000 – £25,000pa
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:30am-5:30pm

My client is looking for a Junior Freight Import Coordinator to join their team based in Basildon. You will have the opportunity to develop your career in logistics, eventually becoming a fully-fledged Freight Operator. Your new career in Logistics starts here!

Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering import documents and executing import entries.
- Liaise with Transport companies, organising deliveries.
- Liaise with 3PL suppliers and warehousing.
- Be an integral part of the LCL Team.
- Support and liaise with the Customs department, arranging customs clearances and completing Bills of Lading.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the Freight and Logistics industry would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Previous experience using Destin8 would be advantageous.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Excellent customer service.
- Good verbal and written communication.
