Mechanical Design Engineer
Design Engineer – Automated Systems & Bespoke Conveyors – Leicester
I’m recruiting a Design Engineer to join an established manufacturer of high-quality conveyors, platforms, automated systems and robotic solutions
You will be responsible for the design of automation equipment and engineering solutions using Autodesk Inventor (3D)
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
* 3D design and 2D detailing of bespoke conveyors and automated systems
* Issuing drawings and creating part lists
* Site surveys
* Liaising with project managers and clients
* Generate accurate detailed drawings and BOM for manufacture of all relevant components
* Create drawings to company standards
* Ensure efficient turnaround times if design changes are required
REQUIREMENTS
* Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, etc)
* Experience designing either of the following; Conveyor Systems, Automation Systems, Robotics, Special Purpose Machinery
* Experience with Autodesk Inventor advantageous
* Food industry experience advantageous
PACKAGE
- £35,000-£40,000 (+ O.T)
- Pension
- 39 Hours P.W with an early finish on Fridays
- 25 days Paid Annual Leave
- 8 Days Paid Public Holidays
