Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester

Salary: up to £37,000 (DOE)

My client is looking for an experienced Air and Sea Freight Forwarder to join their team based in Wythenshawe and help develop their UK operations. They are an experienced freight forwarder operating out of 60 offices in 14 countries across the globe.

Package Benefits:

• Annual Salary: up to £37,000 (DOE)
• Full time: Monday to Friday – 9:00am-5:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing Air/Ocean Imports/Exports from inception to delivery.
• Dealing with customers, suppliers, partners and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and fast delivery of service.
• Utilize existing freight/IT systems to keep accurate records and data pertinent to the shipments being provided.
• Providing and ensuring all customs data and documents are provided to 3^rd parties/HMRC as and when required.
• Making sure that customers are served in line with SOP’s and their individual requirements.
• Invoice on time and accurately.
• Maintain and develop relationships with customers to up-sell and cross-sell across all modes and methods.

Requirements:

• Ocean freight experience essential.
• Air freight experience essential
• Import and/or export customs experience.
• Proficiency using Boxtop logistics software desirable.
• Experience working for a freight forwarding company.
• Excellent customer service.
• Good verbal and written communication.
