Location: Greater Leicester Area
Salary: up to £40,000 (DOE)
My client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team based in Leicestershire. The right candidate will have experience in Air, Road or Sea Freight Forwarding Operations and have previous supervisory or managerial experience within the industry.
Package Benefits:

- Full time: Monday to Friday – 8:30am-5:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Working within a dynamic team to deliver freight forwarding expertise for customers across the globe.
- Support the operations team, monitor KPIs and driving improvements.
- Training new and existing team members.
- Development of new and existing business.
- Arranging movement of freight from origin to final destination, both international and national.
- Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers.
Requirements:
- Air, Road or Sea Freight Forwarding Operational Experience.
- Import and Export Customs Experience.
- Managerial or Supervisory Experience, preferably as an Operations Manager.
- Experience working for a freight forwarding company.
- Excellent customer service.
- Good verbal and written communication.
