Transport Planner

Transport Planner required! – Manchester – Up to £30,000

You will be joining a well-established freight & haulage company delivering customers goods across the UK & Ireland

You will be working in a fast-paced environment meeting planning vehicles effectively and efficiently.

It is essential that you have Multi-drop planning experience

Package

Up to £30,000 DOE

22 days + Bank Holidays

Standard 3% Pension (NEST)

Medical Cash Plan

The Role

As Transport Planner you will Route and plan multi drop deliveries

Prepare correct documentation to the Warehouse/Haulage department for loading/off-loading cargo to vehicles

Transport Planner will arrange with approved hauliers for transport of cargo

Maintain awareness of and follow transport regulations, where relevant to confirm to all statutory requirements, Customs Clearance, HMRC

All necessary admin must be completed

Requirements

Planning experience in multi-drop/Pallet network

UK Distribution experience

Excellent geographical knowledge

Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
