Transport Planner
Transport Planner – Huddersfield – Up to £30,000!
An independent and successful Transport company based near Huddersfield are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join their team.
You will be working with a small team of Planners, routing company owned vehicles UK wide.
If you have Pallet Network experience – Please apply now!
If you have General Haulage experience – Please apply Experienced Transport Planner required.
The Package:
Up to £30,000
Monday – Friday
28 days holiday
The Role:
- Transport planner will be routing company owned vehicles
- You must Plan routes as cost effectively as possible
- It is the Transport Planners responsibility to plan routes in line with WTD and Drivers Hours
- Transport Planner will ensure all customers are kept up to date
- All necessary admin must be completed
- You will be working with the Operations Manager to ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with company standards
- Perform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g. costing, agreeing charge rates with contractors, queries in accordance with the companies’ requirements.
The Requirements:
- Extensive Transport route planning skills
- Pallet Network is experience preferred
- Excellent geographical knowledge
- Strong communication skills
