Transport Planner
Transport Planner required Near Crewe
A specialist, privately owned Logistics Company is looking for a Transport Planner.
As a Transport Planner, you will be working in a small team routing around 130 company owned vehicles across the UK.
This role would ideally suit an experienced Transport Planner and CPC holder or a more junior individual who is looking to expand their Transport and Logistics as full training will be provided and will have the opportunity to gain their CPC.
The Package
Up to £30,000 (DOE)
Monday – Friday
8am – 5.30pm
The Role:
Transport Planner will be responsible for planning the routes of circa 30 company owned vehicles
To plan and allocate the loads on a daily basis in order to maximise vehicle revenue by the efficient use of resources across a varied customer base, nationwide on a multi drop operation.
Writing clear reports and presenting options and recommendations to senior management.
It is your responsibility to ensure all routes are planned in line with WTD
All Drivers must be fully briefed and debriefed
The Requirements:
Experience as a Transport Planner
CPC beneficial but not required
Geographical knowledge of UK
Good attitude, driven and passionate
